Educational & Social Research Organization (ESRO) and Indian Holistic Medical Academy(Tanjore) jointly organized “Health Awareness Programme” on Sunday 23rd November 2008 at Asha Nivas Campus, Nungambakkam ,Chennai – 600 034.
Dr. E.K.T. Sivakumar Founder ESRO welcomed the gathering. Dr.S.Nagendran MD(Acu) President Indian Holistic Medical Academy Tanjore,
Dr.T.N.Vallinayakkam, Chief Justice Karnataka & Chennai High Court, Dr.R. Ramakrishnan MD(Cardiologist), Dr.Syed.MM Ameen , Founder Director ,SK Hospital, Dr.T.Venkataraman , Principal Adhiparasakthi College of Arts & Science,G.B.Nagar, Kalavai, Vellore District. And Dr.P.S. Lalitha M.V.Sc.,Ph.d., MD(Acu) addressed the gathering consisting of 150 eminent doctors from allopathy, Unani and sidha, on the importance of Indian Medicines.

AN AWARNESS PROGARMME ON GLOBAL WARMING
ESRO with AMET University have jointly organized an awareness programme on Global warming on 11TH December 2008, at Kanathur, Chennai. This programme was sponsored by Tamilnadu state council for Science and Technology, Chennai. and National council for Science and Technology Centre , New Delhi.
As a part of this awareness campaign four different competitions, oratorical, essay writing, slogan writing and poster painting were conducted and the best participants were awarded. A souvenir on Global Warming was released by Capt.S.Bhardwaj, Vice- Chancellor, AMET University and received by Rtn K.S.Jayaraman, and Dr.E.K.T.SIVAKUMAR. During the campaign saplings were planted by volunteers in the AMET University campus.
RURAL EDUCATIONAL AID PROGRAMME
ESRO has conducted rural upliftment programme on 16th January 2009 in padaturpet , thiruvallur district. On this occasion educational aid to the 300 students of the weaker section of the society were distributed.
Sarees dhotis were distributed to destitute of the village and near around areas .
